Silver + Gold Dipped Disc Necklace

An organic textured pendant necklace with dipped gold detail. It is a striking design which is great for layering or simply a stand alone piece.

How it is made… techniques include recycling, reticulation and keum-boo. The silver disc has been entirely made by recycling my sterling off-cuts. The metal is melted, poured and shaped into a unique organic circle. The surface is textured using a heat manipulating technique called reticulation. 24ct gold foil ‘dipped’ detailing has been added using the ancient Korean technique called Keum-boo. This is where the gold bonds to the silver through heat and pressure.

Measurements… the pendant is approximately 2.5cm in diameter but this may vary slightly due to the nature of how it is made. 

Packaged… the necklace will be packaged in a lovely box made from sustainable materials. It will be posted Royal Mail 1st class and the parcel will fit through your letterbox.
